Gothic and Amazing — black rose logo Gothic & Amazing

For Designers and Brands

From an editorial mention to a dedicated brand profile in the magazine.

Editorial work powered by APOV Visual Artist via our publishing studio. Capturing alternative fashion since 2012. Sister project: IrisArtPhoto.

If you design alternative fashion — independent label, established brand, headpiece-maker, accessories designer — Gothic and Amazing is one of the most direct ways to reach an engaged international audience. This page lists the ways we feature brands and how to apply.

How brands appear in G&A

Examples of brands we have featured

Independent labels: Pretty Bastard, Villena Viscaria Clothing, Romantic Threads, Little Devil's Creations, The Crypt of Curiosities (accessories), Nøkke Fensholt of Fairytailor (headpieces). International alternative brands: Killstar, Dark in Love, Sinister, Punk Rave, Necessary Evil, Wulgaria, Burleska Corsets, Scarlet Darkness. Each was featured at a different moment in their growth — we work with brands at all scales.

How to apply

Apply through the G&A Submissions Portal, selecting either the 'Designer feature' or 'Brand review' track. Include a press kit, your most recent campaign images, a short brand description and the link to your online catalogue.

If you also need professional brand photography for your own e-commerce or look-books — outside the editorial inclusion track — see the commercial photography offer of our publisher on the studio behind the magazine.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay to be featured?

Editorial inclusion itself is not for sale. A small processing fee applies to certain tracks (dedicated feature, magazine inclusion). Sponsored content, when it occurs, is always clearly labelled as such.

Do you feature only fully-launched brands?

No. We have featured brands at all stages, from first-collection to internationally distributed. What matters is editorial fit.

Can my brand provide its own model for the shoot?

Yes — many brand features are shot with a model the brand already works with. Just include the model's name and consent in the submission.

Do you feature sustainable and ethical brands?

Yes. Sustainability is often a strong angle for independent designers, and we routinely highlight it when it is part of the brand's story.
